Our Timeline
  • 1946 – Tom Gallo Sr. with wife Rose Gallo Started an ornamental iron shop in their garage.

  • 1950 – Tom and Rose built a 5,000 square foot building with an office. Next door to their house.

  • 1955 – Tom and Rose doubled the size of there building

  • 1960 – Tom added a 3,000 Square Foot Machine Shop

  • 1965 – Tom added Plant 2 that was 12,000 Square Feet

  • 1968 – Tom’s youngest boy’s Tom Jr. and Tim(2nd Generation) join their father to help run the organization

  • 1970 – Tom’s oldest son Natale (2nd Generation) joined Tom after serving in the U.S. Air force

  • 1970-1995 – Tom and family continued as one of the premier fabrication shops in the United States

  • 1995 – Tom’s oldest son Nat with wife Sandy started there own company known as Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc., and repositioned the companies direction

  • 1997 – Nat’s oldest son Nathan (3rd Generation) joins the management team of Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc.

  • 1999 – Nat and son Nathan (3rd Generation) bought a 60,000 Square Foot building in the McDonald Industrial Park and refurbished it to a state of the art fabrication and machine shop facility.

  • 2003 – Nat's youngest son Nick (3rd Generation) has joined the management team of Steel and Alloy.

  • 2004 - Nat Gallo Retires as CEO and President of Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc.

  • 2004 - Nathan Gallo (3rd Generation) becomes CEO and President of Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc.

  • 2005-2006 - Nathan and Nick Gallo become 3rd Generation owners by purchasing Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc from Nat Gallo.

  • 2006-2007 - Many new capital improvements were made, including new equipment and new engineering and management offices.

  • 2007 - Steel & Alloy has obtained its’ ASME Certification “U” and “R” Stamps to build pressure vessels.

The roots of Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc are that of a family owned and operated business with an operating history of over fifty-five years. Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc. prides itself on its versatility and service-oriented atmosphere. Ownership may have changed since inception from father to son, but the desire and dedication has remained the same since 1946. With this in mind, Steel & Alloy Utility Products, Inc. brings to you its long history of knowledge, equipment, engineering, innovativeness, fabrication capabilities, strategic alliances and a prime location to satisfy your particular fabrication needs. Our unique involvement of all our employees in daily business activities makes for customer awareness not found in normal customer/supplier relationships.
